“Best entity” in QUALITY Games’ +1 Speed Backrooms Escape means the equipped unit with the largest speed-per-step multiplier you can actually obtain this session. It does not mean the scariest hallway silhouette, and it does not mean last month’s YouTube title. Community runs — including OrangeIsShort’s noob-to-pro “best entity in the entire game” session — treat the unit slot as the snowball. Everything else is stack.

How to identify the current best unit

Open shop and inventory. Ignore the model. Read the percentage. The best entity is the highest multiplier in a slot you can equip now, not the highest multiplier in a thumbnail you cannot buy.

Signals that you found an S-tier secret rather than an A-tier common:

• The % is in another league from the rest of the row, not one step up the ladder.
• The card is presented like a secret — community thumbnails often use an Entity 67 / Partygoer smile and a huge number. That is presentation. Still read the live tooltip.
• Creators are restarting accounts around it this week.

In the recorded OrangeIsShort run, the creator bought the Partygoer as the “super OP unit” and then stacked a Rainbow trail (about 389 Robux), an aura 6 (about 10x), and a 9x treadmill. Speed per step jumped from the hundreds of thousands into the tens of millions on the pad. That is the template: identify the unit first, then multiply it.

If the live shop no longer sells Partygoer, do not force the name. The template still works. Whichever secret now owns the giant % is the best entity until the next [UPD].

How to equip it

1. Open the entity / unit shop or inventory tab — the same place other +1 Speed games put pets or auras, except here the row is Backrooms faces.
2. Buy or claim the secret if you have the trophies, wins, or Robux the live price asks for.
3. Equip it. Unequipped secrets do not multiply steps.
4. Confirm the step counter moved on a short walk before you AFK.

If you cannot afford the secret, equip the highest A-tier common instead. A worn A-tier beats an unworn S-tier. B-tier fillers are only for the first minutes of a new file. C-tier cosmetics never win this checklist.

QUALITY Games does not publish a public drop table this wiki trusts. Anyone quoting exact percents for a “Verity egg” or “Entity 67 crate” without a screenshot of the live UI is guessing. Screenshot your own shop.

Stacking order: unit, trail, aura, pad, rebirth

The best entity is one factor. The product is five:

• Unit — this page.
• Trail — one at a time. Rainbow at ~389 Robux was the recorded flex; cheaper trails still help F2P.
• Aura — one at a time. Aura 6 at ~10x showed in the same run.
• Treadmill — free 1x-2x for F2P, 9x as the first serious paid pad, admin-style high-Robux if the shop has it.
• Rebirth — resets progress for a larger baseline so every other multiplier prints more.

Buy in that mental order even if the Robux store shuffles the buttons. Multiplying a starter filler on an admin pad is how spenders feel slow. Rebirthing before you equip the new secret is how grinders throw away a session.

Early game versus late game

Early: you probably cannot buy the secret. Equip any real common, stand on the free pad, punch bags, and push rebirths. Use getting started and the speed guide. Watch 14-player ghosts only as a reminder that secrets exist, not as a reason to Robux a C-tier skin.

Mid: trophies start to buy A-tier units and the first trail. This is where most accounts should live. A 2x or 9x pad here is optional; the unit upgrade is not.

Late: you are hunting the current secret, stacking aura 6 (or whatever the live top aura is), and deciding whether 9x or an admin-style pad is worth it. Stages that still kill you are usually stamina — bags, not a second entity. If you beat the leaderboard and still do not “escape,” that is a known recorded outcome: speed can clear the course without a separate ending screen. Keep farming the stack anyway.

What not to do

• Do not invent a fifty-name best list. Names rotate.
• Do not copy Keyboard Escape’s Verity treadmill key hunt as a way to roll a unit here.
• Do not buy Rainbow before the unit unless you are only flexing in the lobby.
• Do not inject a script because a creator’s counter looked high. Read scripts with the account-risk warning first.

The best entity is the number you can equip today. Screenshot the shop, wear the multiplier, then let trail, aura, pad, and rebirth do the rest of the violence to the step counter.

Before you close the shop, run a two-slot check: entity equipped, best trail or aura equipped, then look at the pad. If either slot is empty, Robux on a treadmill is early. If both slots are filled and the next stage is still a wall, the missing piece is either rebirth or boxing-bag stamina — not a second secret with a louder smile. That two-slot habit survives every [UPD] that renames the best entity.
